Help Wanted -- Outdoor Adventure Social Club of Greater Charlottesville, VA

Software Programmer	Are you skilled in PHP, Javascript, HTML, Unix and SQL? If so, please contact us.
Outdoor Adventure Leaders	Do you have or want to get current first aid and CPR certifications, and do any of the following apply to you? Got a lot of experience in a particular outdoor activity? OR ... Want us to train you to become a hike or other outdoor adventure Leader? OR ... Want to simply work with other outdoor adventure providers such as white water rafting agencies, glider plane services, horseback riding stables, etc. to facilitate and organize club trips to their locations? Earn free club membership, have fun, and potentially make some pocket change by leading or facilitating just two trips per month! Please contact us if you're interested.
Community Service Leaders	Many community help organizations need and appreciate our group help, making for a perfect blend of community service, outdoor adventure, and education. Projects include house-building for Habitat for Humanity, cleaning up rivers while canoeing for Rivanna Conservation Society, and more. We'd love to have even more of these and other types of community service projects arranged, and we have much experience to help you in setting them up. Social Activity Leaders	Interested in organizing social activities? Earn a free club membership by organizing four social activities per month. You'll be free to use the club's social space on the Charlottesville downtown mall for your events. Flyer Hanger	Earn a free club membership by hanging flyers at convenient-for-you locations twice per month. Please contact us if you're interested.
Marketing & Advertising	OASC is considering offering a paid, part-time position to someone with marketing strategy and advertising placement skills & experience, OR a strong desire and time to learn in these areas. If you might be interested, and if you're a "people-person" with part-time availability, please contact us.
Discounts Dynamo	OASC Members receive many discounts as a part of their membership benefits. The more we have, the merrier! Earn free membership by visiting shops and/or restaurants, at your convenience, with a brochure in hand, which explains the benefits to the shop/restaurant and invites and entices them to join our Preferred network. Club Manager in other cities / towns / regions	Have some free time? Know some outdoorsy people? Outdoor Adventure Social Club would like to open new chapters: in the region around Charlottesville, including a chapter in each of the following: Culpeper, Harrisonburg, Lynchburg, Richmond, Staunton, and Waynesboro; in the Virginia coastal region, including a chapter in each of the following: Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Norfolk, and Portsmouth; in the Washington, DC area; and in other areas as well. We are creating a network which enables OASC Members in all chapters to travel and join each others' outdoor adventure postings throughout the Virginias and beyond, in addition to local events taking place in each chapter's city/town. The Greater Charlottesville-area chapter launched in early 2004; it's organizational model is fine-tuned and ready to travel. As Club Manager in your area, you'll apply your own creativity and style while benefiting from our start-up and operating experience, and while making use of our website and accounting / financial systems -- no need to deal with these tasks.
