Membership Fee -- Outdoor Adventure Social Club of Greater Charlottesville, VA

The club membership fee pays for:

Gear & equipment (thousands and thousands of dollars worth)
- Members use club gear on club trips for free!
30% of the club Social Space rent at 420 E. Main St. #3, right on the Cville Downtown Mall
- Members may use the social space for free, for general club events or for their own OASC special interest groups!
Office, website, advertising and management expenses.
- The Manager works for the club full time -- mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends -- to continuously improve the club and to act on your ideas and suggestions. This is not a club run by someone on his/her spare time (those clubs tend to fizzle away when that person gets busy with his/her main career).

The participation fee savings will pay for your membership fee if you attend an adventure approx. just once every other month!

Membership fee: the longer you sign up for, the cheaper it works out to be per month. The one-year membership fee works out to be $18 per month (or just $14 for full-time college / grad students with an ID card!)

This is less than the cost of just one dinner or bar night out per month

We do not want to keep your credit card / bank information in our files to charge you on a monthly basis. That is your personal information. Payment is due in full at sign-up.

Couples Discount If a couple joins the club at the same time, the couple saves a total of: $10 off 3 months $20 off 6 months $40 off 12 months Please note: "Couple" is defined as two people who are engaged or married, or two people who are living together and want to get married but laws prevent them from doing so. If you are not a "couple" as defined above please do not bend the rules and try for a discount. We would like to keep offering this special deal. The Couples Discount cannot be used in conjunction with a student membership plan. To use the Couples Discount, each person signs up for a regular General Member Membership Plan, and then the couple sends in one check with a note saying that they are a couple as defined above, and so they have reduced the total amount of the check by $10, $20, or $40 as appropriate.
